Good idea but it needs a little more depth as to what is worth reporting to whom and what is not. Keep up the good work!

Joe: I intentionally left that out, because any observation can occur in a great number of arenas. If you fish, you'll observe fish. If you bird watch, birds. Gardeners will notice garden things. In each of those arenas (plus many, many more) can be found a call for sighting reports. Not all are framed as citizen science. This post is simply an introduction to the concept and an a brief explanation of why we citizens matter. And thank you for the encouragement.
