I love having an engaged navigator when I drive on trips. And I always drive-that control thing you talk about, maybe. I like to study the places I've been when I get home using USGS quadrant maps and google earth. Usually makes me want to go see more. I am considering getting a GPS, though. Both for when I Just Want To Get There and when I want to remember the exact coordinate(like a hole in the sandbar that can only be seen at low tide)

Plus, Warren, you travel around town to multiple customer locations. That in itself is a worthwhile business application. I wonder: Is it more likely a person remembers the route, say for a second trip, if they use a map or a GPS?
