Great examples. Love the multiple photos. They're wonderful AND they organize the text into comfortable chunks.

RELATIONSHIP;"a particular type of connection between people related to or having dealings with each other." According to Webster - why all the complication?
I'll always recall when in a support group session this remark; "Life would be a breeze if I didn't have to deal with other people." We all feel this way at times but think about how lonely and empty our lives would be. WE NEED EACH OTHER TO FEEL SIGNIFICANT, TO GIVE AND RECEIVE LOVE.
Greed enters in when our focus is out of wack. We demand acknowledgement in all forms. This is when the relationship gets hammered. I like the way you emphasised independence because until we learn to trust ourselves and our intuition regarding others, give and take is impossible. It took me forever to ask for help but when I did it opened a door to reciprocity and gratitude. When humility replaces pride there is no need for control. Each one carring his or her own weight; what perfect balance secure in each other. Can we do this?

The main point is you are correct--independence is the only way. Freedom is the only way. It is also the hardest way; but it is the best way.

Claudia: The posts in this series are longer than most, as the topic is a heavy one. It's good to know that the photos help to break it up and make it easier to read.

Joy: It's encouraging to hear your story. I hope it will help others understand the potential (and reasons) for striving to something that is not "a breeze."

Joe: Independence can be difficult, but the more others around us do it, the easier it is for everyone, proving that we still rely on each other in the end, but in a positive way versus a negative one.

Thank you all for your comments, and I appreciate your patience for my delayed reply.
