One of more than 30 articles published in this monthly Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal column. This one -- explaining the term "watershed" as well as its role in supporting life on Earth -- was published July 2011.

The paper is read by business owners and professionals in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, and the column features resources, profiles environmental leaders, and gives tips to businesses that want to be kind to the ecosystem.

An interview with professional radio broadcaster and Philadelphia Folk Festival founder that offers advice to prospective songwriters who want to get their songs on the air. Published in the 2010 edition of The Songwriter's Market.

The publication contains the latest listings on where to sell your songs as well as articles on how to market yourself, advice on writing a marketable song, and insight into contracts and the publishing business.

A piece about the joy that comes from participating in making live music together. Published in Lehigh Valley Marketplace, December 2011. 

The magazine is a consumer resource for both lifelong residents and newcomers to the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, including coverage of the area's shops, restaurants and cultural points of interest. Earlier issues include my pieces on topics such as gardening and choosing a private school.

"On Black and Orange Wing"

This third article in Pennsylvania magazine features a Souderton couple who have raised more than 8,000 monarch butterflies in their suburban backyard.

The magazine is a general-interest, bimonthly publication that covers people, places, events, and history in Pennsylvania. Earlier issues include coverage of the Philadelphia Folk Festival and Bethlehem's Musikfest.
